Drug metabolism: well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Maximum plasma concentration 6 hours after oral administration on an empty stomach and 10 hours on a full stomach
Food in the stomach reduces the absorption of the drug. Bonding protein is more than 90%. Metabolism is mainly hepatic
The plasma half-life is 12 hours and drug excretion is approximately 70% in the urine and 20% in the feces.
Side effects: headache, sleep-wake state, extreme tiredness
Nausea, dry mouth. heart beat . Insomnia, restlessness, anxiety, disturbed sleep
